The Queensland JMOF is a group of prevocational doctors convened by PMCQ. Its purpose is to provide a junior doctor perspective on junior doctor education, training and wellbeing that is independent from junior doctor employing entities. The JMOF discuss and advocate regarding prevocational medical education matters. The JMOF is comprised of prevocational doctors drawn from training facilities across Queensland. It reports to the PMCQ Board of Directors and has links to the Australasian Junior Medical Officer Committee (AJMOC).
More information about the JMOF is available from its Terms of Reference.
The JMOF membership is organised into portfolio groups that reflect the current concerns and issues faced by junior doctors in training. These portfolios adapt and change over time. Currently, the JMOF has the following portfolios:
• Wellbeing
• Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors
• International Medical Graduates
• JMOF Publications (Intern Booklet)
Each portfolio group completes projects relevant to their portfolio, including research initiatives where relevant.
